Sola is Chris, Jesse, Rachel and Birte. Together they make beautiful fragile songs. In doing so, they put a lot of space in it and expose the most delicate feelings in a bright spotlight. Sometimes the atmosphere of Sola's songs remind me of slowcore masters LOW or great bands like Yo La Tengo and Sonic Youth. They have been around for some time now but are the kind of shoegazers that rarely step outside the rehearsalroom. Down here you can find some beautiful songs for a lazy day off or a long drive on a humid autumn day. Enjoy.
